Why is it so hard to find a souvenir tee you'd actually want to wear?

In the summer of 2022, we went searching for t-shirts from our favourite beaches around Phillip Island and Victoria's Bass Coast. What we found was mostly generic surf merch and souvenir tees and fast fashion that didn't feel connected to the places we loved.

So we made our own.

We are Fee and Anita, artists, designers and the founders of Everything is Fine. Nothing is Fine. We create wearable memories inspired by the beaches, wildlife, music and everyday moments of Australia.

We both studied Fine Arts, me in Photography and Anita in Drawing—and our backgrounds span conservation, community organising, graphic design and the creative industries. Together, these experiences shape everything we make: thoughtful design, local stories and pieces made to be worn, loved and kept.

We care about where our clothes come from as much as what goes on them.

Our garments are sourced from Better Cotton and B Corp-certified suppliers, including one of our favourites, Mindful Merch. Their organic cotton blanks are made in their own factory in Vietnam, where they invest in their people and the planet.

We produce in small, limited runs because we’d rather make fewer things that people truly love than create unnecessary waste. Our designs are hand screen printed in Melbourne by our friends at Too Far Gone. We love working with people who care about their craft—like Steve, who also runs Rowdy's record shop in Northcote, a must-visit for music lovers.

Giving back is part of our story too. For every tee sold, we donate $1 to the Koala Clancy Foundation to help restore native habitat for koalas across Victoria.

We're building the souvenir brand we always wished existed—local, thoughtful and full of stories from the places that keep calling us back.
